  • Attend scheduled shift regularly and punctually and able to fulfill all required duties.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and brand integrity by adhering to and promoting company policies and procedures, including:
    • Employee Health & Safety
    • Food safety
    • Product Quality
    • Productivity
  • Safe and efficient set-up, operation and tear-down of processing equipment; striving to minimize loss of product.
  • Abide by make recipes, target moistures and quality standards for cheeses produced ensuring consistency, quality, and safety.
  • Strive to ensure production targets and goals are achieved according to schedule; rotating through all departmental positions as instructed.
  • Adhere to FIFO rotation procedures of product and departmental ingredients. Properly transfer product from/to coolers and staging areas.
  • Operate the presses, robot, and bag washer
  • Maintain the work area, including general housekeeping, to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure product meets required specifications (i.e. temperature, moisture, coding/identification, etc.); documenting all verification actions.
  • Assist fellow teammates in reaching their full potential by promoting a culture of team work through demonstrating, teaching, reviewing, and providing guidance.
  • Effectively communicate with department, plant and company personnel to ensure safe and effective departmental operations and processes.
  • Neatly and accurately complete departmental checklists, verifications and other paperwork, as required.
  • Operation of C.I.P. and C.O.P. systems. Sanitize production equipment within the specified guidelines.
  • Practices and enforces good manufacturing and health and safety practices and continually ensures the quality of the product.
  • Sanitation of production equipment within the specified guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes, but not limited to: standing/walking on concrete, noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, and humid), routine bending/stooping/twisting/pushing/pulling, lifting 50 lbs., climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment throughout shift.
  • Working with sanitation chemicals, wearing approved personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.
