Production Distribution- Day Shift - Butterball, LLC : Job Details

The Shipping Associate position is responsible for transferring finished product from the freezer onto refrigerated trucks. Essential Duties, Functions and responsibilities:Using sit-down forklift, pull product out of blast and place in freezer racks and load/unload trucks. Use hand-held scanner to scan product into inventory system. Using wrapping machine, wrap product on pallets to specifications. Ability to work safely in sub-zero temperatures (to -40 F) for periods of up to 2 hours. Must be able to become forklift. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Follows all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions & policies. Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
