Description:
This position will initially be supporting documentation support for new equipment installations and updating of timelines for projects. Other duties will be responsible for launching new products for ECU (electronic control unit) business. Will include project management, purchasing, installation, and validation of new equipment. Work with outside vendors and integrators to ensure projects are on time and in budget. Will work with automated assembly equipment that includes robotics and PLCs. Will also do floor layouts for new equipment/lines using 2D AutoCAD or Solidworks. Majority of the role will be around equipment validation though which will be creating documentation/manual for equipment to be used by team members and maintenance crew.
Will also work to support existing production lines that would relate to uptime improvements, designing new fixturing, some PLC troubleshooting/programing, and supporting other Engineers on team. This may include setting up preventive maintenance schedules, creating spare parts lists and other improvements as necessary.

BS Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or other related degree
Mechanical aptitude (i.e. knowledge of motors, equipment, etc.)

Preferred:
Programming capability (PLC/GLC, C++, Visual Basic, etc.)
1+ years in equipment validation/installation
Project management skills/experience
