Position - Production Expeditor

Hourly Pay $23 - $25 DOE

Days: Monday-Thursday, some Fridays required

1st Shift 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A manufacturing warehouse located in Austin, TX is currently seeking a Production Expediter. This is a Temp To Perm position that offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic team full time.

Candidate must have the following experience:

• At least three years of experience in a manufacturing inventory environment
• At least three years of experience developing production schedules
• At least three years of demonstrated working experience and proficiency with MicrosoftOffice® Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) and Netsuite or similar ERP Systems
• At least three years working with creating mathematical calculations related toschedules and material requirements
• One to two years' experience working in a warehouse setting / shipping clerkexperience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Generate a production schedule, updated daily, to coordinate all parts of themanufacturing operation.
• Work with other departments (sales, project management, purchasing, etc.) to providescheduling information for their needs and obtain necessary inputs toproduce an accurate schedule.
• Focus on schedule integrity and solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Support the Production Department to resolve and correct issues preventing adherenceto schedule, such as material supply and ERP system issues.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Monitor and coordinate outside services as they relate to the schedule, includingworking with purchasing to assure supplier set-up and on-time completion.
• Validate execution of schedule by monitoring completion of process steps and developcontingency plans for schedule disruptions.
• Work with purchasing, engineering & design, and production departments to assureschedule accuracy.
• Actively tour the manufacturing areas to directly check on the status of orders.
