Production Floater - Veterans Sourcing Group : Job Details

Production Floater 3rd shift (10:30pm - 6:30am)Northampton, MA3 Months contract with possible extensionPay Rate- $19.00/hr on W2 + $2/hr as shift differentialResponsibilities and Duties:

• Work Safely
• Participate in the Continuous Improvement program
• Load proper finished materials based off packing lists provided by Production Planner
• Perform quality checks to ensure proper labeling to jars, boxes, pallets etc.
• Ensure excess finished good are returned to proper storage area
• Perform weekly checks to maintain proper packaging material inventory
• Operate a forklift to move pallets of raw materials, totes filled with powder, etc
• Will need to operate equipment at elevated heights occasionally (ladders/platforms)
• Pack finished goods to be shipped including strapping and shrink wrapping
• Load/unload trucks as needed
• Maintain work areas and equipment
• Other duties as assigned

• Client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill a role as a Production Floater.
• The ideal candidate will have safety as their #1 priority, be mechanically-inclined, and have good communication skills as we work in a team-oriented environment.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for packing materials and reporting any issues to their supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED/equivalent
• Valid Drivers License - REQUIRED
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred
• Team player
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
• Reliable transportation to/from work
