Provide guidance to the next level of supervision regarding the management of personnel as appropriate.•Direct the Quality Control process and supervises the implementation of systems to assure the prevention of quality problems and ongoing quality appraisal.•Develop and communicate standard repair procedures, and quality and cost standards within the detail, paint and body departments, and monitors performance.•Develops and oversees the weekly and daily scheduling of work and assignment of work to technicians in the most productive manner.•Communicate due date goals to technicians daily, and coordinate information flow between the office and the production floor.•Break down repair orders by department and task assigns work to the appropriate technician.•Coordinate all supplements with the front office to ensure that the repair order is properly updated.•Coordinate the acquisition, storage and use of sheet metal and hard parts.•Administer preventative maintenance program for all equipment and tools, and makes recommendations to management regarding replacement or upgrade.•Keep up-to-date with new techniques and materials, and facilitate training for all appropriate personnel.•Track and monitor key metrics to monitor quality, productivity and costs.•Hold regular meetings with employees to hear their input regarding issues of concern to them, including quality, productivity and costs.What Morrie's Offers:•Industry-leading 401(k) and Roth IRA programs with competitive company match•Full medical, dental, and vision coverage•PTO accrual starting at 2 weeks•Free life insurance and identity protection•AD&D, short- and long-term disability coverage, and voluntary life insurance•Flexible spending plans•Clean, well-maintained, multi-million-dollar work environments•Exciting opportunities for management advancement within the company*Some benefits are offered to full-time employees onlyWhat You Offer:•Five years' experience as a technician in an automotive service department; including two years in a leadership role.•Knowledgeable in all facets of the productions operation.•Will successfully complete appropriate management training courses.•Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
