Role OverviewThis position is on 1st Shift and starting pay is $21.00/hr. Operates production equipment for processing cell sexing technology. Perform daily tasks as defined by production needs.You WillMaintain production operations of assigned cell sexing workstationFollow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain lab documentationLearn other ancillary processes throughout the production lab as business needs necessitate, such as but not limited to:FhilCentrifuge/tubes tableSample makingDish roomIncoming quality controlTroubleshoot issues that arise. Communicate issues with appropriate personnel (leads, supervisors, manager, or support group)Provide ideas for improvement in the work environment (relentless improvement and/or RIB cards)All other duties as assignedRequirementsMust possess a valid driver's licenseMust possess High School diploma or equivalent; Post-High School education or experience within a production laboratory setting is preferredAbility to lift/transfer 46 lbs. frequentlyStrong attention to detail and focus on maintaining the highest level of quality at all timesAbility to perform basic math skillsAbility to utilize a computer, keyboard and mouse to accomplish work tasks (includes but is not limited to the ability to look at computer monitor screens for the entirety of assigned shift)Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same timeAbility to work well within a team environmentAbility to maintain professional verbal and written communications with co-workers, internal and external customers, and vendors at all timesExperience in a laboratory or equivalent production environment is preferredWorking ConditionsStand for long periods of timeMonitor equipment and computer for long periods of timeExposure to chemicals occasionally (PPE is provided)1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm $21.00/hr2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm $23.00/hr3rd Shift 10:00pm - 6:30pm $24.00/hrEqual Employment OpportunitiesGenus is an equal opportunity employer.
