The Production Team Lead will oversee and coordinate activities of workers engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture parts or products. As the primary contact point for all team members, strong communication skills are crucial. Experience with inventory management and control is also necessary.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and resolve work-related problems, assisting team members when necessary.Review work orders to estimate labor hours and develop machining schedules that meet both internal and external requirements.Ensure a continuous flow of supplied materials to prevent stock-outs, shortages, or production delays.Instill a sense of urgency within the team to meet deadlines.Recommend and implement improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.Direct workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that do not meet quality standards.Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials as needed.Inspect and measure parts and products to ensure they meet specifications.Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met.Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders, assigning duties accordingly.Maintain time and production records.Monitor and enhance employee productivity.Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is in use.Perform minor equipment maintenance.Communicate in-process defects both upstream and downstream. Qualifications:One to two years of experience as a Team Lead in an industrial manufacturing environment.Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening, including marijuana.
