Production Lead- Week Night Shift - Utz Brands : Job Details

Utz Quality Foods is currently seeking a Weekend Nightshift Production Lead Person to work from our Broadway manufacturing facility in Hanover, PA. This candidate will be responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor in the execution of daily production. Exemplary leadership qualities and strong communication skills are essential in the role. This position will work Sunday-Wednesday 5:25PM-5:55AM. This in a non-exempt, full-time position reporting directly to the Weekend Night Production Supervisor. Responsibilities:Assists Production Supervisor in leading all packaging, processing, and sanitation activities.Monitors daily attendance, evaluates individual performance and trains personnel to ensure standards are met.Assists with scheduling personnel in an efficient manner in order to meet daily production requirements.Fill in for various department functions when needed and give breaks. Monitors equipment operations and communicates breakdowns to maintenance.Ensures production of quality product by ensuring all processing and packaging standards are upheld.Integral to executing and monitoring tasks to maintain data integrity/accuracy in ERP data system.Maintains a working knowledge and utilizes RedZone, 6S Principles and Continuous Improvement.Uses EAM to enter work orders and track preventative maintenance tasks.Responsible for maintaining a safety-first culture and work environment.Follows and enforces all GMP, food safety practices, and all applicable requirements of the SQF system.Performs other duties as assigned that impact and support the overall outcome of company objectives.Requirements:Requires analytical, math and reading skillsKnowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookRequires leadership and management to direct the department and interface with other departmentsKnowledge of designated packaging and processing operations to assist when neededMust be forklift and high reach certified or willing to do soModerate lifting and occasional skid pullingFluent in Spanish desired but not required.Our Recruitment Process Easy Application (5 mins): Introduce yourself and answer a few key questions to get started.Engaging Chat Interview (20-25 mins): Share your experiences in an online chat, highlighting how your values align with ours.Live Interview: Selected candidates will meet with the hiring manager to explore their alignment with the team and overall Utz company culture.Continuously Pursuing Excellence!Here at Utz, we have a passion for exciting and delighting consumers with delicious snack foods made from high quality ingredients.
