Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $13.50 - $13.50 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Production Lead Worker :

• Lead and manage a diverse team to optimize workflow and productivity

• Organize staff, ensuring access to materials and machines while enforcing safety standards

• Identify improvement areas and conduct hands-on training

• Analyze production processes and staff performance for efficiency

• Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring timely workflow and efficiency

• Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and meet operational targets

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during product packaging and storage

• Conduct regular inspections to maintain product quality and safety standards

• Train workers on processes and maintain packaging standards

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with safety and GMP'S standards

• Monitor hygiene, safety policies, and statutory compliance

• Communicate variances, quality issues, and concerns to the production department

• Assist employees with any questions or concerns

• Ensure company PPE requirements are being followed

• Must verify that all lines have the correct weight and count for the product that has been repacked

• Ensure communication with employees about all changes (quality, product, size, weight, etc.)

• Work with the Warehouse supervisor on opportunities for improvement for the mitigation of the issues

• Oversees all production activities to ensure the accuracy and condition of all orders.

• Assure all personnel have their assignments for the day

• Sustains the company's Primus and Organic certification

• Ensure that orders meet weight specifications and apply appropriate labels and tags

• Perform physically demanding activities like standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing throughout the shift
