Production Leader - Korn Ferry : Job Details

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Production Leader for their facility in Hemlock (70 miles North of Lansing) MI.

Candidate must have at least 5 years knowledge/experience of manufacturing operations. BS in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, etc.) is highly preferred; PE is a plus and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!

Compensation: $125,000-150,000 + 15% Annual Bonus Opportunity

What You Will Do:

Responsible to lead and manage resources and assets within their department to produce high-quality products safely, consistently, and sustainably. Leads production team to effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries to achieve optimal safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity results.

Provide tactical direction for operation and maintenance of manufacturing assets in a disciplined manner, adhering with all regulatory and site management systems.

Provide strategic organizational leadership to meet the site production plan safely and efficiently through effective risk management and defect elimination.

Sustain optimal safety culture and performance through demonstrated leadership, clarity of expectations, operational discipline, and risk management.

Lead the establishment and achievement of departmental goals in alignment with business objectives. Manage team performance and culture, achieving optimal employee engagement through effective coaching, development, and recognition.

Effectively manage fixed expenses to meet budget and resources to deliver continuous improvement.

Education and Work Experience:

• Must be authorized to work in U.S.
• At least 4 years U.S. Military experience
• 5+ years manufacturing experience required.
• Strong LEADERSHIP skills.
• BS in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, etc.) preferred; PE is a plus.
