Join our team and start your journey today! Key ResponsibilitiesDescription of duties & activities1. Production planning, execution & shipments
  • Receive day wise production plan from planning Function, review its alignment with customer's sales orders, POR for the month & ensure to book plant capacities with 100% utilization
  • Ensure production resource availability, shift planning, adjustments to meet demands. Skill development / enhancement for Operators with online training & awareness in case.
  • Check adequacy of manufacturing process disciplines, process sequences & time consumed to perform processes.
  • Keep Tracking Hourly / shift / day wise production output, check manpower utilization. Benchmark plant utilization index & track & monitor its improvement.
  • Understand TAKT time for All Operations, Line balancing and deploy techniques to be used for achieving Mass production
  • Work on Down time issues, identify causes for downtime, work with Cross Functional Team to eliminate downtimes which are affecting productivity / output
2. New Product Development Support with reduced lead times
  • Focused efforts on new product development.
  • Participate in reviews with cross functional Teams , Keep track on efforts to optimized time to market.
  • Understand new product scheme, check favorable/ non-favorable effects & raise concerns at specific times.
  • Review total BoMs & participate in consolidation activities by giving support from production.
3. Safety, Quality & Cost Improvement
  • Continuous focus on safety & keep safety at high level.
  • Quality of products by ensuring in-process & final product quality.
  • Actions to meet quality performance indices with reduced quality cost & less efforts.
4. Overall plant level discipline
  • Identify & improve on the gaps observed in the standard Copeland processes.
  • Ensure ethical work culture & discourage & report unlawful activities & actions.
  • Help teams & individuals to perform daily activities with systematic & effortless manner.
  • Vigilant for any bad practices & short cuts & report them for timely actions.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical /production engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience of handling mass production assembly lines. Strong Fundamentals on Assembly processes.
