Job Title: Production Manager**Location: ** Eaton, Ohio**Company: ** Maronda Homes**Department: ** Production**Reports To: ** Operations Manager**Job Summary: **The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.**Key Responsibilities: **1. **Production Planning and Control: ** - Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands andoptimize resource use. - Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timelydelivery.2. **Quality Assurance: ** - Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards and customer specifications. - Implement and maintain quality control procedures and resolve any quality issues.3. **Team Management: ** - Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing training, supervision, andperformance evaluations. - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.4. **Cost Management: ** - Manage production budgets and control production costs. - Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality orefficiency.5. **Inventory and Supply Chain Management: ** - Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials while minimizingexcess stock. - Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.6. **Safety and Compliance: ** - Ensure all production activities comply with health and safety regulations. - Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.7. **Process Improvement: ** - Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement. - Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.**Qualifications:**- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field and/or Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role- Strong knowledge of production management principles, including scheduling,inventory control, and quality assurance.- Proven ability to manage and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment.- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.- Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Master's degree in a relevant field.- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvementmethodologies.- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Project ManagementProfessional (PMP).**Working Conditions:**- This position may require standing for long periods, working in a manufacturingenvironment with exposure to noise, heat, and other conditions.- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to meet productiondeadlines.Maronda Homes is an equal opportunity employer.
