Job DetailsJob DetailsAs a Production Manager in our organization, you will be at the heart of our food and packaging operations. This role is integral to our mission of delivering high-quality, safe, and innovative food products to our customers. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, including manufacturing operations, facility management, and lean manufacturing initiatives. This role is a critical link between our production team and the rest of the organization, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Oversee all aspects of food production and packaging operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.2. Implement and maintain HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and PCQI standards throughout the production process.3. Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.4. Manage the day-to-day operations of the production facility, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and staff scheduling.5. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement production plans that align with company objectives.6. Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality.7. Train, mentor, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.8. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.Qualifications1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in production management in the food manufacturing industry.3. Proficient knowledge of HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and PCQI standards and regulations.4. Demonstrated experience in implementing and driving lean manufacturing initiatives.5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.9.
