In this position, you will hold responsibility for directly leading all production material planning using on hand inventory analysis and direction provided to Supply Chain. This position reports to the Operations Manager. The Production Manager is expected to interface with many functions of our division, primarily Operations, Business Planning, and Supply Chain, but also including Engineering, Quality, and Management teams.The Production Manager at this site is responsible for analyzing production demand against finished good inventory. This includes detailed analysis on raw material inventory, including open orders for all contract manufacturing commodities (electronic and mechanical), hardware, and accessories. This position creates, builds and analyzes reports for material on hand, open orders, and identifies all shortages needed to support the operations build plan across each product line.Responsibilities:Drive inventory planning decisions in support of manufacturing planTrack the latest schedules and status for open order material and contract manufacturingManage and communicate purchasing demand to team of buyers and inventory staffWork with Business Planning and Operations leaders to verify all demand planningProvide management teams with planning analysis and status reportsQualifications: Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience in Operations Planning, Material Planning, or related functionEffective communication and collaboration skills with teams across the organizationExperience with manufacturing raw materials, preferably mix of OEMs, custom fabricated, and electronic subassembliesExperience with Purchase Order processing, Inventory Management, and Sales Order ProcessingStrong attention to detail and highly organizedAbility to systematically multitask and manage large volumes of dataProficient with Microsoft ExcelMust be a US CitizenAdditional Desired Qualifications: Ability to work independently or with other departments to support all stakeholdersExperience with configuration management principles and systemsExperience or familiarity with on-site custom manufacturing and off-site contract manufacturingUS citizenship is required to be eligible for security clearanceWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
