Description Job ProfileThe Production Manager supports the design and development team to ensure a good understanding of the product or system that is being created. The primary responsibilities will be as a people-leader and problem-solver for obstacles that stand in the way of the Production team's success.Responsibilities
  • Manage, lead, and guide the Integration Production Organization to meet customer and production schedules and goals.
    • Provide leadership of the organization in development of flexible customer solutions.
    • Perform associate reviews and provide constant feedback of associate performance and goal setting.
  • Coordinate all daily integration production operations for Assembly, Wiring, Packaging, Cable Production and Refurb inspection ensuring on time shipments to customers.
  • Provide ongoing training for the Production organization.
  • Understand customer requirements to design a set of tests of scenarios to check that the product and/or system meet the requirements.
Requirements/Key Experiences
  • Hours for the Production teams are 8:00am-4:30pm EST Monday through Friday with a 30-minute unpaid meal period. Management may be required to work longer hours to reflect the needs of the business.
  • Ability to utilize a telephone, computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Ability to regularly lift or maneuver up to 75+ lbs., stand, bend, walk, lift, and reach.
  • Comfortable working in a large, open space Warehouse environment exposed to some heat/cold elements.
  • Continually required to:
    • Stand during schedule up to 7 hours/day.
    • Utilize hand and finger dexterity/motor skills.
    • Bend.
    • Utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information.
    • Lift/carry/reach up items repeatedly up to 20 pounds and occasionally to push up to 60 pounds.
  • Continually work safely near moving mechanical equipment, such as Forklifts.
  • Continually work around cleaning material chemicals.
  • Occasionally required to walk between work areas.
  • Occasional loud noise (forklift horn, automatic rolling door, etc.)
