Production Manager - GPAC : Job Details

Job Description Custom Plastic Hardware Manufacturing firm in Columbia County are looking for an experienced Production Manager The firm - is a well-respected and Established Privately Owned / Operated custom Plastic Hardware Manufacturing firm that has been in business since 1967. The Production Manager maintains production capacity by determining, monitoring, and updating production priorities; managing staff. Responsibilities:

• Generates work orders; reviews, orders materials and distributes to work centers
• Checks on requests for expedites, on time and late items
• Manages people resources to accomplish daily work tasks
• Assigns, schedules, coaches, counsels and disciplines employees
• Resolves problems; determine system improvements; implements change
• Runs product line reports for the production departments; analyzes reports and develops solutions
• Proactively communications risk of fulfillment issues to sales and highlights production bottlenecks
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with production management or knowledge internally of departmental flows
