We're seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Manager to join our production leadership team. The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end value stream within the organization. This role focuses on improving the flow of value through the production process, from raw materials to finished goods, by identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, reducing waste, and enhancing overall performance. The Production Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure that the value stream delivers maximum value to customers.
Please note, this role is 100% On- Site at our Poulsbo, Washington Workplace called the Orchard.

What you'll own:
* Manage Value Stream Operations:
* Oversee and manage all aspects of the value stream, including production, quality, and supply chain.
* Ensure that the value stream operates efficiently, meeting quality standards and customer requirements.
* Identify and Implement Improvements:
* Analyze the value stream to identify areas for improvement, including bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies.
* Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to enhance value stream performance.
* Apply WPS principles and other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes.
* Lead Cross-Functional Teams:
* Coordinate with various departments (e.g., production, quality, logistics, engineering) to align efforts and achieve value stream goals.
* Facilitate cross-functional meetings to review progress, address issues, and drive collaborative problem-solving.
* Monitor Performance Metrics:
* Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to value stream performance.
* Prepare and present reports on value stream performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
* Drive Continuous Improvement:
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the value stream.
* Lead and support Kaizen events, workshops, and other improvement activities.
* Promote the use of best practices and innovative solutions to enhance value stream effectiveness.
* Ensure Compliance and Standards:
* Ensure that all value stream operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet customer expectations and minimize defects.
* Manage Resources and Budget:
* Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources within the value stream, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
* Develop and manage budgets related to value stream operations and improvement projects.
* Develop and Mentor Team Members:
* Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to develop their skills and improve performance.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* All other responsibilities within reason as assigned by production leadership
What you'll need to know:
* Material handling experience preferred
* How to work in a required sequence to ensure alignment of the production schedule
* How to use basic power and hand tools
* A willingness to learn the Watson Production System
* All other procedures and policies as assigned by production leadership

Wage and Compensation
* This role can expect to earn $80,000 - $110,000

Our Benefits
* INSURANCE | All employees and their dependents will have the ability to enroll in medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans. If enrolled, benefits begin on the first day of the month following the 60th day of employment at Watson.
* RETIREMENT | Watson will match 50% of employees' 401k contributions, up to 2.5% of base annual salary. All employees over the age of 21 will be automatically enrolled on the first day of the month following 6 months of employment. You can opt out, decrease, or increase contribution at any time.
* PAID TIME OFF | Hourly employees will earn 80 hours of paid time off during their first year at Watson, 120 hours of paid time off during years 2-5, and 160 hours of paid time off each year after being employed for 6 years. Salaried employees can enjoy no cap on their PTO. However, reasonable time off in your first year is considered to be a couple of weeks.
* PAID HOLIDAYS | Watson is closed for 8 holidays every year and offers every employee an additional paid holiday to choose upon employment.
* PROFIT SHARING | Profit Sharing is how we reward the effort and commitment of our employees. Generally, 25% of profits are allocated to the Profit Sharing Plan after the baseline profit level is met. The overall profit sharing amount varies from year to year.

Qualifications
Qualifications
* 4+ years related manufacturing experience
* Previous experience as a Production Manager, Group Lead or external equivalent management experience
* High School diploma or GED equivalent
* Ability to work on feet for 8-10 hours in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to lift 50lbs continuously
* Ability to bend, reach, twist, push, pull, lean, & stoop
* Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
