- Works with support personnel to recruit, train, and develop personnel. Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending actions. Coordinates all production employee appraisal activities annually; respond to employee questions and requests.
- Works with leads and supervisors to investigate the root cause of non-conformances (NC) and corrective/preventive actions (CPA); identifies and executes corrective/preventive actions within time requirements.
- Works with support personnel to identify and monitor continuous improvement projects. Reports improvement results in lead time, throughput, scrap, cost savings, etc., to senior management.
- Performs visual management walkthroughs to ensure work performance results (i.e., productivity, cost, quality, delivery), are achieved and that issues and obstacles are addressed immediately by all support personnel. Facilitates production meeting and attends scheduled contract review meetings.
- Ensure plant-wide compliance to quality and system standards (ISO9001, ISO13485, QSPs, SOPs, PSOPs, OPPMs, VBA and customer specifications) for all products produced. Perform unscheduled, random audits on part conformance and system conformance on a daily basis.
Education and ExperienceRequired:
- 4 year degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent and/or 5+ years of supervisory experience
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing
- Understanding of ISO9001 or 13485 standards
Desired:
- Supervisory certification
- Experience with clean room manufacturing
