As a Production Manager, you create chemistry by...
* Leveraging your educational and professional background in Engineering or another technical discipline, along with your proven leadership skills within a chemical/petrochemical or similar manufacturing environment, you will establish plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets to ensure continuous improvement.
* Providing technical and administrative guidance to operations, maintenance, and other areas of the business in support of the production plan.
* Collaborating with world-class colleagues to solve complex challenges and provide technical and administrative guidance to operations, maintenance, and engineering, you will lead by example and establish a working environment that involves trust to drive a diverse, high-performing team while creating a vision that fosters a sense of common ownership. This includes establishing plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets to assure continuous improvement.
* Providing operations coordination for asset optimization, you will interface with Maintenance, Asset Management, Strategic team, and other daily execution teams to achieve Maintenance Process Improvements (MPI).
* Being accountable for daily environmental and safety compliance, and you will implement the incident investigation process including investigation, root cause analysis, action items, documentation, and follow-up for incidents.
* Leading a cross-functional team, you will play a key role in employee development, succession planning/knowledge transfer, and performance management of the Daily Execution Team.
* Building upon your business savviness, you will optimize fixed and variable manufacturing unit costs and provide technical support for cost-effective operations of Cogen, Boilers, DI water, waste water systems etc.
* Firm grasp of safety and continuous improvement will be a valued asset as you will be responsible for driving EHS and LEAN continuous improvement activities.
* Striving for quality, you will assure air and water compliance with EPA and TCEQ permit limits for wastewater effluent, potable water, boilers and Cogen emissions.

* Bachelor's Degree preferably in an Engineering discipline.
* 8+ Years of chemical plant experience required
* Prior experience as a people leader is preferred
* Experience in a large manufacturing site preferred
* Master's in Business Administration is desirable
* Role requires around 10% travel
