In this role, you will be responsible for leading specific production teams and lines across this key manufacturing site. You will drive operational improvements, streamline processes, and promote a culture of outstanding teamwork and collaboration. Key responsibilitiesEfficiency Improvement: Maintain detailed downtime reports and develop action plans to improve efficiency Leadership: Supervise Production Supervisors and provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to direct reports.Flexibility: Support all shifts as needed and coordinate vacations and time off for direct reports.Strategic Planning: Assist in developing short and long-term management goals, annual budgets, and reducing direct labor costs.Collaboration: Work closely with the Quality, Maintenance, Scheduling, Supply Chain, EHS, and Human Resources teams to optimize performance and meet production goals.Training: Ensure all production staff are fully trained on equipment and safety procedures.KPI Management: Develop, communicate, and oversee departmental KPIs.Lean Management: Drive organizational change and implement lean management programs.Key Performance Measurements:Maximize plant equipment uptime and process equipment capability.Minimize blend and process errors and reduce yield variances.Reduce customer complaints and workforce attrition.Achieve departmental KPIs and complete performance evaluations on time.Ensure staff are adequately trained and adhere to proper paperwork protocols.Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for accidents and safety incidents.Qualifications and skillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering or equivalent job experience. Experience: At least seven (7) years of production management.Skills:Strong team player and collaborator.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Experienced in budget and strategic planning.Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills.Ability to drive organizational change and implement lean manufacturing processes.Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and high level of integrity.
