Duties and Responsibilities: This role combines administrative duties with warehouse operations, requiring both office skills and hands-on experience. The incumbent will also be responsible for reviewing production paperwork, production entries and data entries in SAP. The Production Office Assistant will assist with plant cycle counts, annual inventory, and various administrative tasks to help achieve company production goals. The position also requires forklift operation experience to assist with loading/unloading, stock movement, and inventory management. Strong organizational skills, proficiency with warehouse management software, and the ability to multitask in both office and warehouse environments are essential. Key duties include but not limited to the following:
- Create and submit purchase orders to vendors/suppliers for raw materials and packaging needed in production and waste treatment.
- Process purchase orders, in SAP.
- Keep Management informed of any supply issues affecting customer sale orders.
- Work with local Production Planner to schedule in-bound deliveries of bulk raw material orders.
- Maintain purchasing manual with updated vendor detail and contacts.
- Verify prices and quantity billed from vendors; ensure it matches price confirmation on the purchase order and/or price quote.
- Create and provide SAP orders and production batches to the floor to complete the production schedule.
- Compile and input production orders using SAP transactions required for production transfers, quantity adjustments, error changes.
- Serve as a receptionist by greeting visitors, checking them in/out, and directing them to the appropriate departments or rooms.
General Requirements:
- High school diploma is required.
- SAP experience is not required but is a plus.
- A minimum of 1 year as an Administrative Assistant is preferred.
- Forklift experience is not required but it is a plus.

- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Inventory management is required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Intermediate level is a requirement.
- Must possess solid organizational and time management skills.
- Must have at least one year working in a chemical and/or manufacturing setting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing clerical tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must pass Department of Homeland Security background check, pre-placement physical and pre-employment drug-screen. Must be authorized to work in the US. Benefits:
