Job DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities:Moving materials using a forkliftOperate production equipment and packaging equipmentFollow production schedules, job instructions, quality standards, specifications, and proceduresDetect and/or correct and report faulty operations or defective materialsCalculate output: square feet, sheet length, linear feet, units, etcMeasuring, cutting, and gluing materialsEnsure safe equipment operation and personal safety complianceMaintain good housekeeping and workplace organization (5S/Lean Manufacturing)Other production responsibilities as needed and assignedRequired Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:Ability to operator a forkliftUnderstanding of basic math, reading, and writing skillsSkills in using power and hand tools such as chop saw, table saw, band sawStrong verbal communication and listening skillsAbility to follow instructions and read production ordersAbility to effectively communicateAbility to read measuring gauges such as a tape measure and calipersCompetencies:TeamworkBuilds trust with others by encouraging open dialogue and collaboration.
