Job DescriptionThe Role The Arodo Mechanic/Operator is responsible to safely and efficiently maintain and operate the Arodo packaging line and palletizer equipment. The Arodo Mechanic/Operator will also be operating and troubleshooting, as needed, on the Arodo Packaging machinery and operating the Palletizer Machinery on a daily basis to support the manufacturing productions operations. This is a senior level operator role with strong growth opportunities within the operations team. MAPEI Corporate Video
- Responsible to safely and efficiently maintain and operate the Arodo packaging line and palletizers
- Maintain high-efficiency operations and monitor plant manufacturing controls, gauges and instruments
- Responsible for preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment
- Document and create work orders for repair in maintenance information system
- Responsible for managing computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and updating assigned work orders
- Responsible for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
- Maintain correct weight and quality of the bags produced.
- Perform Durometer tests on bags for hardness and vacuum.
- Complete paperwork and reports as needed; downtime log, used parts log, shift log book
- Assist in training new operators.
- Perform other duties as required.

Hourly pay staring at $23.00 p/hr (commensurate with experience) plus premium shift differentials; $1.00 p/hr for 2nd and $2.00 for 3rd shift.Qualifications
- To be successful in this role you should be willing to get your hands dirty a bit.
- Must have a minimum of a high school degree or GED equivalent
- 3 or more years of process manufacturing experience operating machinery
- Experience troubleshooting equipment is helpful.
- Have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be available for overtime as needed and able to accommodate the designated shift hours as assigned in the offer: 1st shift (days), 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 am approx.) or a 3rd shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am approx.)
