Production Operator - JobRialto : Job Details

Job Summary: The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring equipment to produce quality intermediates and finished products. The role involves performing material handling activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting housekeeping and maintenance tasks. The operator will actively participate in safety, health, and environmental (SHE) protocols and adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor equipment and processes to meet production targets, identifying and addressing equipment or process issues.
• Inspect finished and in-process products, performing sampling and testing as required.
• Operate a forklift, handle raw materials, and manage material handling tasks, including packaging finished products and loading trailers.
• Perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks in process areas, such as painting and cleaning.
• Maintain accurate process and equipment documentation, contributing to nonconformance investigations as needed.
• Complete safety equipment checklists, document incidents, and assist management with safety-related notifications.
• Attend formal training sessions and maintain required certifications.
• Promote and follow safety practices, ensuring the proper use of protective equipment and compliance with SHE protocols.
• Adhere to cGMP standards, following hygiene and gowning procedures, and preventing foreign matter contamination.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in operating and monitoring production equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift and perform material handling tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Experience in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.
