JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a talented
Production Operator to become a member of the Operations team at Truvian Sciences, reporting to the Production Manager/Supervisor. Candidates with a proven history of executing production processes will be considered. The scope of the work will include, but is not limited to, firsthand tasks associated with the operation of production processing equipment, assembling components, maintaining production records, and other tasks associated with manufacturing Truvian's consumables. This individual must be capable of reading and/or hearing and understanding detailed instructions, to perform accurate, repeatable production process steps. A background in GMP manufacturing and ISO-13485 environments is preferred.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: Broadly, this role is responsible for the delivery of Truvian's diagnostic products into diverse, global end markets. This will require:
- Prepare and assemble materials.
- Build product subassemblies or final assemblies.
- Evaluate products or subassemblies for functionality or quality. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Set up and operate production equipment following current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Measure and record data associated with operating equipment.
- Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
- Provide production, progress, or changeover feedback to shift supervisors.
- Clean production equipment or work areas
- Separate scrap or waste materials for recycling, reuse, or environmentally sound disposal.
- Transfer hazardous or non-hazardous waste materials to collection areas for disposal, recycling, or reuse.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING: The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma
- A minimum of 1 year of cGMP, ISO 13485 industry experience.
- Ability to check for defects and identify and distinguish between colors.
- Ability to read and carefully follow instructions written in English.
- Experience in a start-up and/or pilot production environment
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Basic Computer Skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio experience.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills; organized and efficient
- Proven interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; excellent time management skills.
- Able to excel in a collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving start-up environment; able to manage competing priorities.
- Superb mindfulness; produces work of exceptional quality and accuracy.
- Ability to proactively identify issues and address them with a solutions-oriented approach.
- The ideal candidate would have some exposure to life sciences, diagnostics, and or medical devices.
