Team Members must demonstrate core skills which include understanding Company safety policies, housekeeping standards, statistical process control, following verbal and written instructions, knowing the product line and manufacturing standards, and the essential duties for assigned workstations.Shift: Rotating schedule; 12hr shifts on weekends, 8hr shifts on weekdays - shifts are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7amCompensation: Starting at $20.09; pay increase upon completion of training with a range of $20.33-$22.91Job Location: Little Rock, ARThis is a union facilityEssential Job FunctionsOperate various machine sectionsConduct Set-ups and machine adjustmentsOperate/ monitor the different support systemsSupply raw materials to systemsConduct testing to maintain quality dataMaintain recycling centers in the areaAssist in all machine startups/lace-upsMinimum RequirementsHigh School DiplomaMust be able to read, write, perform the four basic math functions, and be physically able to perform the essential duties1-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentMust have a basic knowledge of 5SAdherence to strict safety policiesAdherence to the highest quality standardsAbility to troubleshoot equipment, raw material & process deficienciesMust be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organizationMust have the ability to recognize and prioritize various tasks/projects at the same timeMust be able to work 8 to 12 hours on his/her feet and climb safety ladders when necessary to complete various tasks within the positionMust work well with other team members on a team and other teamsAt Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed, our employees have pride in belonging to an organization whose culture is made up of these core values: Trust, Empowerment, & Collaboration.
