Production Operator - Peoplelink Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions - Clare has partnered with a prominent manufacturing facility located in Coleman, MI. We are in search of local candidates to join the list for these ENTRY-LEVEL, Production Operator positions. MULTIPLE OPENINGS AVAILABLE!! Job Type: Full-time 3rd shift: 7pm-7am (3-2-2 schedule) Pay: $16+/hr. Production Operator Job Summary:

• Support all requirements included in the systems.
• Set up of the process, machine controls, and tooling as assigned by supervisors/managers.
• Load and unload machine after product has been formed. (Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds regularly)
• Trim excess material with knife, router, scraper, blow torch etc.

Production Operator Qualifications:

• Responsible for initiating actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product and process.
• Responsible to follow all rules, regulations, and policies of the client.
• Stop the production, handling, or delivery of any product when the action being taken may result in non-conformance of the product, damage to the equipment, or injury to any employee.
• Responsible for the inspection and verification of product quality.
• Responsible for completion of records relating to the process and product.

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

• Entry Level Production (No experience necessary)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Need to be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• The ability to read and write and perform simple mathematics.
• The ability to read a tape measure
