Position Overview: As a Production Operator at Maverick Pipe, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process. You'll ensure the efficient production of piping products while maintaining a safe and clean working environment. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, performing quality inspections, and collaborating effectively with team members.Role and Responsibilities:
  • Work a scheduled shift dedicated to producing product, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting production goals.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working area by following company policies and procedures for housekeeping and safety.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Perform required quality inspections of product to ensure compliance with specifications and standards, reporting any defects or deviations promptly.
  • Maintain acceptable attendance that meets Maverick's policy, reporting to work as scheduled and minimizing unplanned absences.
  • Work well with others, fostering a positive team environment, and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
  • Follow leadership direction from supervisors and team leaders to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Minimum Requirements to Fulfill Job Duties:
  • Ability to work a scheduled shift dedicated to producing product, including flexibility for overtime as needed.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working area, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform required quality inspections of product in a timely manner.
  • Acceptable attendance record that meets Maverick's policy, reporting to work as scheduled and minimizing unplanned absences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Willingness to follow leadership direction and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Expected Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capacity to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery and performing quality inspections.
  • Ability to work in environments with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Comfortable wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
