We are seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As aMill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:Runningbatches of ink at proper mill settings.Packagingfinished product in various containers and apply labelsCleaning and maintaining machine to TPM StandardsLearning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activitiesWeigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition.Shift auto and manual stepsMix Batch: Dischargingpigment and operatingmixer safely; following and adheringto all INX Mixer SOP'sHockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipmenteffectiveness) standardsCreatingand maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing timesCanningOperatingthe following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forkliftActing as a QC liaison, providingink samples, makingink adjustments, and recording dataCompletingscheduled maintenance,and troubleshooting proceduresHelping with repacksQualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired;Have 3 months of work related experienceDemonstrate good math and basic computer skills,Have attention to detailBe reliableto work assigned shiftBe flexible to work overtime as requiredHave a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.Have good attendanceand punctualityBe able to lift up to 50 lbs. as requiredIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:Forklift experience, but we can train youMixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry backgroundPrevious experience within the Ink IndustryAdditional InformationWe offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
