Production Operator - Fasco Employment : Job Details

Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Shift Second Pay Rate $15.00 Location Adrian Office Description •Operate the system according to defined processing parameters to achieve optimum processing efficiencies and to ensure the highest quality product while minimizing downtime. •Understand product flow from raw silo's to packaging •Know the type of product, the silo source, and all handling procedures involved each time operating any processing equipment •Perform quality control checks and adjustment of equipment as defined to maintain product quality within defined specifications •Promptly and accurately perform all necessary documentation and data entry •Complete and maintain the following programs: Pre-Operational Checklists, Post-Operational/Cleaning Checklists, and Master Sanitation Schedules •Perform limited maintenance as defined per the MSS or as required; including but not limited to inspection, cleaning, and creating maintenance work requests •Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the facility and common areas •Anticipate problems, implement solutions, and look for continuous improvement/process improvement opportunities •Assume responsibility for the attainment of plant goals and objectives. •Maintain cooperative working relationships and communications with co-workers •Dedication to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive •Follow all procedures and practices: Safety, Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and work in a manner consistent with all regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements •Attend required training •Other duties may be assigned as required Position Requirements ? High School Diploma or GED required ? 1 year of manufacturing experience ?
