Classification: Nonexempt Reports to: Production Supervisor Department: Manufacturing Location: Smithfield, PA Job Title: Off-line Operator Revision Date: 09/02/22 Job Summary Production of Poly-ISO Insulation Off-line products to published specifications. Tasks include inspection of product, production and assembly of all off-line products, and cleaning and maintaining Off-line areas. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Production of Nail board, Cool-Vent, Cut jobs, Rapid Lock, and Samples for sales
- Cutting and assembly of Hips and Valleys, Sumps, and Feet
- Inspecting product for quality attributes
- Maintaining a clean work area
- General labor
- Assist in training of new team members
- Maintaining 5S Checklist
- Fill in other areas of the plant as required
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
- Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies.
- Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment safely

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Equipment Used:
- Forklifts, Foot Saw, Panel Saw, Rapid Lock Machine and Cool-Vent machinery.
- Office equipment (computer, phone, kiosk)
- Computer systems (CMMS, SAP, MS programs)
Working Conditions:
- Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following.
- Temperatures exposed to both Ambient/outside temperatures.
- Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points
- Noise of industrial machinery
- Typically 40 hour per week with overtime as required
- Days/shift vary based on facility need
- Fast paced 24/7 operation
Travel Requirement
- Overnight travel up to 10%, this will include travel to other facilities and to trainings
