  • The Production Operator/Welder is in charge to:
  • Perform production tasks in factory on dedicated workstations
  • Pilot, clean, maintain assembly and test robots
  • Assemble and inspect finished product to ensure defined quality level on time
Pay Rate:
  • $24.50/hour with overtime opportunities available.
Your Responsibilities will include:
  • Execute assembly and welding of parts made of stainless steel on plates from 1,5mm to 6mm thickness in all welding positions performing the welding process: MIG / MAG, regulating and preparing the welding equipment according to internal instruction (voltage, amperage, welding speed, oscillation, flow of shielding gas and so on).
  • Use tools, equipment and instruments such as: measuring tape, scale, square and gauges to make visual weld checking.
  • Conduct assembly before welding, positioning the parts and performing tack welds to place them at the correct location, verifying the quality, specifications and measurements of the drawing.
  • Monitor the activities of other welding technicians, conveying instructions, technical norms, drawings, technical guidance and organization/cleaning of the equipment / workstations, to help them fulfill their activities within the deadlines established and comply with quality norms.
  • Use the APSYS tools (5s / Autonomous Team / SMED / TPM / Self Inspection / Shop Floor Meeting).
  • Execute welding activities according to the needs of the area and through specific qualifications.
Qualification:
  • SENAI or equivalent in training / course to be Arc Welder at technical school.
  • Experience in the welding process TIG is desirable in order to be used in case of welding repairs.
