Associate Production Planner
Contract: Nov - Feb 2025
PR: 25 - 33/hr depending on experience
Hybrid in Reynoldsburg, OH
Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage purchase orders (POs) and amendments.
- Oversee on-ordervs reporting, maintain delivery tracking, and monitor dye and cut dates.
- Direct offshore teams for data entry in systems like Mainframe and SAP.
- Manage issue resolution related to on-order items, articles, and COMs.
- Audit monthly and assess weekly Open-to-Sell Reporting (OSR) to identify order impacts.
- Prioritize and resolve tactical issues autonomously, escalating as needed.
- Complete value-added services, including tracking and resolving issues at the tactical level.
- Review and interpret liability details and ensure timely receipt of liability confirmations post-order.
- Manage liability reporting and communicate details to brand stakeholders.
- Reconcile commitment contracts and raw materials.
- Handle dispute case management and risk assessment for expiring liabilities.
- Process and document order cancellations for monthly management review.
- Ensure timely and accurate on-order tracking and manage commitments without POs.
- Support creation and maintenance of production schedules (CGL).
- Enter key dates into production systems (WIPS) and attend related meetings.
- Manage order schedules, focusing on speed orders and immediate issue resolution.
- Maintain and publish reporting on late deliveries and order status for cross-functional alignment.
- Collaborate with key departments, including Logistics, DC Operations, Deployment, Planning, Merchants, Product Development, Vendors, and Textiles.
- Communicate effectively with both regional partners and leadership to resolve issues and provide updates on production status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-3 years in a related role; corporate internship experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
