The Production Sanitation Worker – Nights is responsible for first line quality control, sanitation regulation, and documentation of product development within the plant. Implements SOP's to assure proper storage of products that will be transferred onto trucks as well as preparing pallet orders. Helping where needed.
Job Duties:
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas. Requires bending, lifting and pulling up to 75 lbs.
Follow quality inspection standards and remove food products not meeting quality standards
Follow company safety and sanitation procedures, Record keeping as needed
Prepare and utilize sanitation cart for cleaning and sanitation equipment
Perform the basic housekeeping to include cleaning floors and exterior surfaces of all equipment, restock employee sanitation areas.
Clean plant drains in accordance with SSOP's; includes fluid processing machine drains. Prepare and utilize mobile foamer; sanitize work areas in accordance with SSOP's. Push foamer throughout first floor processing areas, connect foamer to stationary air lines and open valves for foaming. Scrub, rinse and sanitize all foamed areas.
Climb stairs backwards, pulling mobile foamer to sanitize upstairs stacker rooms, connect foamer to stationary air lines and open valves for foaming. Scrub, rinse and sanitize all foamed areas. (See pictures page 5).
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, accurate format and ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
Follow SOP's to store products, to replenish product pick locations, to pick full pallet and case picked product for orders, for proper rotation of products, for loading, unloading and operating Pallet jack.
Responsible for pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area. Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned and helping as needed in the production area.

The employee is constantly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly push, pull; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
