Production Scheduler Coordinator in our
Cherryville, NC location. This position is an integral part of the production scheduling and control.
Main responsibilities: Daily Order Review and Scheduling: - Review Open Orders- Regularly check the list of open orders that need to be scheduled for production.
- Prioritize Order -Sort and prioritize orders based on urgency, deadlines, and production requirements.
- Balance Production Schedules - Review production capacity, as set by the Plant Manager, to ensure schedules are balanced for optimal resource use.
- Create Production Schedules - Estimate the time needed for each order, select appropriate orders for each production slot, and schedule them based on resource availability and production capacity.
- Release Schedules to the Factory Floor - Finalize and send production schedules to the factory team for execution.
Communication and Customer Interaction: - Email Management - Review and respond to emails concerning order updates and other production-related inquiries.
- Communicate Order Updates - Notify team of any necessary changes or updates related to orders.
Customer Service Coordination: - Provide delivery dates and order status updates to Customer Service team when requested.
- Collaborate with Customer Service team to address special order requirements or expedite requests as needed.
Candidates that will be a great fit will: - Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience using ERP based MRP system (D365 highly desirable), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
- Previous experience in inventory or production control (preferred, not required)
- Previous experience in customer service
