Where will you work?

Our Seattle, WA location is part of our Liquid Beverage division and creates syrups and sweet sauce variations for Kerry customers and brands. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art facility with a team that's committed to helping each other succeed in their roles though structured training with committed and engaged leadership. What will you do?

  • Review PSI daily for changes in orders.
  • Create and maintain daily/weekly/monthly production schedule based on review of PSI.
  • Determine schedule prioritization based on daily attainment.
  • Review material shortages flagged on production schedule and report it to Materials Manager.
  • Lead weekly site coordination meeting to confirm site alignment on production schedule.
  • Create purchase orders for liquid sweeteners and communicate with vendors to align with schedule needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP scheduling issues as needed.
  • Update SAP recipe and material master data for NPI and as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement in scheduling by liaising with the operations team to determine optimal production workflow.
  • Support safety & quality systems by following procedures and participating in training.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but open to other post-secondary education.
  • Minimum 3 years of production planning experience within a manufacturing setting (food industry experience is a plus).
  • Inventory control experience is also preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and SAP (nice to have).
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills as well as effective communication and documentation.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and cross functionally with several teams.

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $30.24 - $44.60 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
