Purpose Analyzes production schedules, customer orders, and shipping and receiving records to ensure finished product inventory meets customer demands Essential Job Functions
- Analyze and adjust short term production schedule to meet needs of company.
- Work directly with Planning on hand off of long-term schedule to Production group for short term schedule.
- Use SAP to solve critical material problems so the efficiency of the production line is unaffected.
- Work daily with all production managers to ensure schedule compliance.
- Monitor AVDs and hours logged.
- Work with Internal Sales and Planning departments to ensure expectation alignment.
- Expedite operations/issues that delay schedules.
- Organize short term schedule for smoothest flow through all areas while maintaining delivery requirements.
- Analyze issues that cause delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with all department managers as needed for production support items.
- Report weekly at SIOP/Forecast meetings on schedule status, adjustments, and potential changes.
- Monitor headcount requirements throughout production areas based on future forecast.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 5 years capacity planning and production scheduling experience in manufacturing.
- SAP experience is a must.
- APICs Certified - Preferred.'
- Customer service, project management, problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Basic PC Skills, Outlook, Work, Excel
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
