Job Description :

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Scheduler to join our client's team located in Coraopolis, PA area in the heavy industrial metals manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scheduling production processes efficiently and effectively, with a minimum of 5 plus years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production capacity.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and purchasing departments to ensure a seamless flow of materials and resources.
  • Analyze production specifications, identify capacity constraints, and provide solutions to meet production goals.
  • Monitor and adjust production schedules to respond to changes in customer requirements or production challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data and provide regular updates to management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and manage inventory levels effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or supply chain management or engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in production planning or scheduling within the heavy industrial metals manufacturing industry.
  • Lean or Six Sigma training a plus!
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, inventory management, and production planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with various teams.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience with ERP/MRP systems are advantageous.
