Provide leadership in developing, improving material movement and Production Control Processes that minimize investment while achieving Inventory and Scheduling goals.Specific Duties:Schedule Quotes from Customer Service through Quote ManageEvaluate Expedite and De-Expedite requests for Customer OrdersRequest expedites for purchased material as requiredProcess Change Orders as requiredUnderstand the production capacity of each finite work center. Manage demand against the current production capacity of each finite work center and the production department as a wholeNegotiate achievable production schedules that meet both internal and external requirements. Create and maintain an excellent working rapport with all stakeholdersEvaluate the Capacity Report - and schedule special or large ordersAnalyze and establish ship dates or acceptable alternative dates on all incoming demand for Sales Orders/Service Orders/Change OrdersEnter monthly materials forecasts based on S&OP entries, and make weekly adjustmentsValidate Planning Bill of Materials ratio's on a quarterly basis to support the Plan for Every PartUnderstand the company's strategic goals and implement scheduling activities to support themMonitor Late Order Notices to reschedule jobs as requiredParticipate in cross-functional teams focused on process improvements, and supply chain developmentParticipate in weekly Project Management meetingsParticipate in ad hoc production meetings. Obtain up-to-the minute information regarding capacity and performance problems. Obtain agreement from all participants concerning modifications to the schedule.
