You will ensure that all resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, are aligned to meet production targets across our multi-state facilities. This position requires excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills to help meet company goals for product quality, consistency, and timely delivery. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage production schedules for cultivation, processing, packaging, and distribution to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and operational capacity.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including cultivation, manufacturing, packaging, inventory, and distribution, to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products.
  • Monitor production progress and make real-time adjustments to the schedule as needed to address delays, resource shortages, or changes in priorities.
  • Support sales and demand forecasts to accurately plan production quantities, minimizing inventory excess or shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with cannabis industry regulations (local, state, federal) regarding production timelines and product tracking (e.g., METRC or other state tracking systems).
  • Optimize production efficiency by identifying bottlenecks, production constraints, and recommending improvements in workflows and processes.
  • Maintain communication with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure all raw materials and packaging supplies are available for scheduled production runs.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including production efficiency, cycle times, and order fulfillment rates to meet operational goals.
  • Prepare production reports for management, highlighting potential risks, schedule adherence, and productivity metrics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production-related software and ERP systems to automate and streamline scheduling processes.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration by working closely with quality control and compliance teams to ensure products meet regulatory and company standards.
Qualifications: Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in production scheduling or supply chain management, preferably within a cannabis, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or related manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in a regulated industry with strict compliance guidelines (e.g., cannabis, food, pharma) is a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, & inventory control.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for managing complex schedules.
  • Proficient in scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Knowledge of cannabis tracking systems like METRC is a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • This position may require occasional travel to multi-state operations.
  • Regular work in a production environment with exposure to odors, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if production requires.
