We are looking for a Production Scheduler to work with our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and adjust production schedules to optimize production efficiency and meet demand
- Monitor inventory levels, materials, and supplies to ensure timely availability for production processes
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure schedule alignment and resource allocation
- Identify and resolve potential scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and material shortages
- Track production progress, adjust schedules as needed, and communicate changes to relevant teams
- Analyze production performance data and report on key metrics, such as cycle time, efficiency, and on-time delivery
- Implement process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy, reduce downtime, and improve production flow
- Maintain accurate and updated records of production schedules, inventory levels, and order statuses
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or a similar role
- Proficiency in production scheduling software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong understanding of inventory management, supply chain processes, and production workflows
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain accuracy in complex scheduling tasks
