Production Scheduler - Tattoo Manufacturing International : Job Details

Job Summary: Perform day-to-day scheduling & procurement duties in a proactive manner in an effort to minimize production issues and delays while maximizing throughput. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of materials needed in the production facility. Supervisory Responsibilities: • None. Duties/Responsibilities: • Coordinate & Schedule ALL jobs for production. • Work in lock-step with Pre-press, Sakurai and Bindery managers to ensure job deadlines are met. • Initiate pre-planning of jobs requiring subcontract operations. • Maintain all Raw Material levels in accordance with procurement policies & guidelines • Oversee & initiate purchase of Raw Material & Production Supplies as needed through the RFP process • Assist in New Product Development as needed. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: • Clear knowledge & understanding of all print-production processes • Understanding of production workflow, equipment constraints and capabilities • Team oriented with quality mindset • Ability to effectively juggle a dynamic and ever-changing workload • Technical knowledge of equipment and problem-solving skills • Cost conscious w/ materials and process efficiencies Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or GED certification. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of standing and walking • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
