Job Title: Prototype Scheduler

Location: Novi, MI

General Summary: To update and maintain prototype production schedule for all customer order for internal and external received orders. Manage and maintain daily Prototype production schedule for seat/door assemblies. Work with all Prototype Leads to insure production schedule is followed to ensure an on time delivery for customer and internal orders. Coordinate program activity amongst multiple Prototype processes. Manage and maintain Trim cover cut/sew schedule and work with PPT program management to insure that schedule is being followed daily.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage and Maintain Daily production schedule for Seat and Door trim Assembly.
  • Receive all customer orders, log on production schedule, Receive timing, and Update ERP system with scheduled ship date.
  • Receive Trim Add form from Procurement, Update and Manage Trim Cover production schedule.
  • Run Shippers / Commercial Invoice, Print EPNS Labels, Call MSE
  • Update and Maintain customers via websites and/or e-mail for deliveries, communicate all customer order issues to customer and negotiate delivery dates.
  • Able to effectively create presentation material and communicate to management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems

    • Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

    Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures. Ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as vendors and their representatives. Must demonstrate commitment, entrepreneurship, innovation, perseverance, professionalism, self-discipline and teamwork skills. Should be self-motivated, goal oriented, quality-driven and capable of working without constant supervision.

  • Must be able to use Microsoft Excel to create reports and charts.
  • Must understand how to create mathematical, logical and reference formulas in Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be able to manipulate large amounts of data in Microsoft Excel.
