TAMKO Downtown Operations Office220 W 4th StreetJoplin, MO 64801, USADescriptionTAMKO Building Products LLC is seeking a Production Scheduling Manager at our Corporate office in Joplin, Missouri. The Production Scheduling Manager manages inventory and production planning to ensure the sales plan ismet at the lowest possible cost. This role leads and coordinates the plan with multi-disciplinary teams.Summary of Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Other duties may also be assigned.Maintains an operational forecast by color and product group.Determines both long-term and short-term plans for production lines and schedules production of products.Conducts meetings with plant and sales personnel for production planning purposes to meet the sales plan at the lowest possible cost.Reviews and completes various reports regarding customer orders, inventory management and production planning.Assists sales, warehouse and Call Center personnel in meeting the needs of the customers.Reviews customer orders and returns to insure orders are processed to customer and TAMKO's requirements.Maintains MRP relevant master data in SAP.Reviews MRP requisitions and prepares inbound material of finished goods.Identifies opportunities for lead time reduction, inventory reduction, SKU consolidation and other continuous improvement opportunities.Expedites delivery of goods to customers.Develops management reports and plant review summaries.Position Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required.Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.One year of related experience and/or training, and three years supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with advanced skills in Excel.Word processing and spreadsheet knowledge.Knowledge of SAP software is preferred.Physical Requirements/Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job.
