Production Setup Technician - 2nd Shift - P&P Industries : Job Details

DescriptionDuties / Responsibilities:Accountable for set up of assigned production linesPerform production machine setups including mold changes when work cell areas are changing to a new productPerform setup of auxiliary equipment including sonic welders, etcPerform setup of take out robotsSupport troubleshooting activities while production machines are in operationMaintain machine logbooks and Lean 5S protocolsMake recommendations to maintenance and tool room on setup improvementsInterface with maintenance, tool room, and production teamsDemonstrate P&P Core ValuesDemonstrate Safe and On-Time work ethic; adhere to safety procedures at all timesOther duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED2 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience working in a Lean facility preferred.Demonstrated understanding of injection molding, machine operations, and continuous improvement methodsDemonstrated ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions and production schedulesDemonstrated basic ability with Microsoft Office Products and ERP systemsDemonstrated ability to maintain open communications and tenacious follow upDemonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesLicensed Fork Truck and Crane Operator preferredAbility to sit, stand, bend/twist, work in high places, negotiate tight spaces, lift up to 55 lbs, travel throughout the facility, and differentiate between all colors
