PRODUCTION SHIFT SUPERVISOR - Kalmbach Feeds : Job Details

About the Role:

The Shift Supervisor's primary objective is to coordinate the safe, quality oriented, and efficient production on their assigned shift, while meeting established production, safety, and quality targets.

You are also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area for the purpose of safety, efficiency, and appearance.

* You develop and provide ongoing training of current team members

* You inspect and monitor feed quality, weight, and packaging

* You perform other feed production related functions or duties as needed

* You are responsible for several direct reports

* You provide timely feedback to upper management

* You assist with process improvements

* You track performance and production metrics

* You will report to the MPK2 Production Manager

Who You Are:

* Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

* Evidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide

* Ability to lift 50 pounds on a consecutive basis required

* Previous forklift experience required

* Must be available for any shift, over-time and weekends

* Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years manufacturing experience

* At least 2 years supervisory experience

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

* RF scanner experience (preferred)
