Shift:Monday through Friday 6 AM - 2 PM. Some overtime.Job Summary:The Production Sorter is responsible for completing inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring the finished product meets customer specifications. This position is crucial in maintaining quality control.Essential Functions: Conducts inspections of in-process materials and in-process finished products to meet customer specifications. Advises shift supervisor and production floor associates when inspection results do not meet customer specifications. Responsible for replenishing supplies and materials required for assigned areas. Supports and follows the guidelines of SQF (Safe Quality Food) program. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Other job-related duties as assigned.Work Environment: The position is on a manufacturing production floor with high levels of noise. Exposure to high temperatures is possible due to machinery and production processes.Physical Demands: Standing, stooping, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time. Lift up to 50lbs occasionally.Qualifications: Previous manufacturing experience and/or training preferred.
