Production Specialist - International Staffing Consultants : Job Details

As Production Specialist is a critical part of tooling development team and focuses on statistical process control. Primary focus in extrusion department, then other departments as needed.Essential FunctionsOther duties may be assigned:

• Investigate production and quality issues and work with production supervisors and machine operators to correct processes.
• Solve technical and processing issues; suggest changes on PLC's.
• Coordinate production trials (new compounds, new material), evaluate the process, and share the results with the team.
• Conduct capabilities studies.
• Complete material testing.
• Coordinate continuous improvement projects.

Required Education and Experience

• Engineering or technical degree or equivalent education.
• Plastics processing knowledge
