Duties: Assist in supporting a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel through consistent support of the company's Safety Process. Participate/support the SQF program and assist in the development of the system and operational standards and corrective actions. Lead positive employee relations programs throughout the organization. Ensure both the needs of the business and the needs of the employees are met while driving organizational standards. Support effective recruitment and onboarding practices (including participation in career fairs, interviewing, and onboarding) for the organization. Partner with Production, Safety and Human Resource leadership to resolve employee issues and concerns. Work collaboratively with plant leadership to ensure success of continuous improvement. Lead all E-21 transactions on the shift. To include Cheese, trim, Film, Labels, Corrugated (all materials used in the production process Ensure manning is in line to standard costs Maintain and manage the employee cheese purchase inventories. Track skill set training plans and attainment as needed. Monitor and enforce employee compliance with company policies and procedures. Participant as needed in facility's communication efforts (i.e., newsletters, plant meetings, etc.) Ensure compliance with GMP regulations. Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Participate in 5Y methodology. Fill-in for other personnel per production needs. - High School Diploma and 3+ years relevant experience, associate degree preferred.
- Experienced computer knowledge including Microsoft Suite.
- Knowledge of E21 is a plus.
- Must have good dexterity and be able to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and be able to identify and solve problems.
- Ability to understand and apply instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Demonstrate reliability and good work ethics, quality work performance, attention to detail is a must, and maintain a good working relationship with all other departments.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to multitask and work in a team oriented fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and must be detail and process oriented.
- Incumbents must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
